Public Relations Assistant

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Public Relations (PR) Assistant runs Trackman for the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Ops department during Springfield Cardinals home games and assists the Springfield Cardinals Public Relations Department before and during games as needed.

***This is a general interest posting. This job will be open to applications throughout the 2019 season. 

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Produces game day packets for Season Ticket Holders and fans
• Assists PR Department as a liaison with the media
• Operates Trackman for St. Louis Baseball Ops department
• Serves as the primary Press Box attendant
  

Education and Experience Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field; or combination of years of experience and education
• Moderate computer and technology skills
• Moderate baseball knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Desire/interest in pursuing public relations in sports as a career
• Developed computer and technology skills
• Advanced baseball knowledge
