Production Manager

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Springfield Cardinals are currently seeking candidates for its Manager of Production position. This position will oversee all aspects of in-game entertainment and stadium production for the Springfield Cardinals. This includes managing the creation of media content for internal and external marketing & promotion as well as production on TV broadcasts. This is a wide-ranging position whose ideal candidate is someone that possesses creativity, production and technical expertise, organizational skills and an ability and desire to collaborate with co-workers throughout the organization.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Manage full and part time employees to maximize work flow and effort in creating a top-tier entertainment venue
• Manage the usage, maintenance, repair and purchase of all production equipment, as well as relationships with applicable vendors to ensure maximization of their products and services
• Act as production point person for all Cardinals employees to create smooth game operations, including both game and television production, utilizing creativity to plan and execute consistently new and changing entertainment content within the larger marketing, sales and promotions plan

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production or related field; or a combination of relevant experience and education
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in field
• Basic knowledge of live multi-camera video production, live sound, video editing, motion graphics, graphic design and audio recording

Education & Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media Production or related field; or a combination of relevant experience and education
• 5+ years of sports related experience in field
• Strong knowledge of those areas as well as technical understanding of TV broadcasts, video systems and information technology
