Office and Ticket Services Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Springfield Cardinals are currently seeking candidates for their Office and Ticket Services Coordinator position. This full-time position will work jointly with the VP of Business & Baseball Operations in the realms of finance & ticketing, employee time management, human resources, and office operations to offer assistance and support to various departments throughout the organization. This position will require daily use of the three core company software systems: Great Plains (accounting), Provenue (ticketing), and TMSS (time keeping), along with the ability troubleshoot and repair small problems with all office and ticketing machines and hardware as they arise.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies for the entire front office (supplies, office equipment and office equipment contracts)
  • Acting as the main point of contact for highlevel IT issues
  • Supporting the Director of Ticket Operations during office hours and training all new employees on utilizing ProVenue software
  • Assist with any ticket related questions, as well as any ticketing equipment issues as they arise
  • Coordinate all accounting related billing (processing and filing of all bills, sponsorships, ticketing reports and other financial documents as approved by the VP of Business Operations)
  • Provide support for accounts payable/receivable, end of the year budget reconciliations, marketing (Great Plains software), and all bank deposits
  • Manage and track all mailings and deliveries throughout the office
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the timely facilitation, processing, and delivery of all Springfield employee paperwork to the St. Louis Cardinals Human Resources Department.
  • Assist with all onboardings, terminations, and the quality control of all time management operations within the company
  • Provide support for Springfield's Facility (TMSS assistance) and Marketing areas (general administration) through daily administrative duties including copying, filing, and typing as needed

 Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business operations or related field; a combination of years of experience and education.
  • 1-2 years experience coordinating office operations
  • General understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, and related area
  • 1-2 years experience in ticket/box office operations
  • 0-1 years experience supervising hourly, part-time/seasonal staff
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of baseball
  • Basic computer knowledge of MS Office suite; ticketing software, accounting software, and time keeping software
  • Good written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

 

Education and Experience Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field; a combination of years of experience and education
  • 2+ years experience in coordinating office operations
  • 0-1 years human resources experience
  • 1-2+ years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related areas
  • 2+ years experience in ticket/box office operations
  • 2+ years experience supervising hourly, and/or part-time event staff
  • Strong understanding of minor league baseball
  • Proficient computer/system operations skills (Microsoft programs, ABI knowledge, Great Plains knowledge, TMSS and ProVenue)
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
