Membership Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Membership Coordinator for the Springfield Cardinals will be responsible for servicing all membership accounts through touchpoints, including phone calls, in-office meetings, and stadium interactions. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for serving as the primary liaison to members for all of their needs, including renewals, exchanges, ticketing questions and fulfillment of benefits. To ensure membership retention, the membership Coordinator will maintain year-round touch points and relationships with all current and potential members by operating and organizing membership programs which include Promo Club and Theme Tickets.  The Membership Coordinator will also be responsible for any special assigned projects such as, but not limited to: ordering promotional items, managing jersey auctions, assisting with part-time staff coordination, and any other projects as assigned.

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associates degree in business operations, or related field; or a combination of years of experience and education.
  • 1-2 years of experience coordinating office operations
  • 1-2 years of human resources experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related area
  • 1-2 years of ticket operations/box office experience
  • 2 years of experience supervising hourly and/or part-time staff
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of minor league baseball
  • Basic computer knowledge of MS Office suite, ticketing software, and accounting software
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

 

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, or related field; or a combination of years of experience and education.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating office operations
  • 2+ years of human resources experience
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related area
  • 2+ years of ticket operations/box office experience
  • 2+ years of experience supervising hourly, and/or part-time event staff
  • Strong understanding of minor league baseball
  • Proficient in computer skills/operations (Microsoft programs, ABI knowledge, Great Plains knowledge, TMSS and ProVenue)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
