Group Account Executive, Ticket Sales

Summary of Responsibilities:

A Group Sales Account Executive prospects and develops on-going relationships with potential customers such as business entities, schools, non-profits, athletic associations, professional associations, etc. for the purpose of selling tickets to 300+ groups. AEs contribute to the design and delivery of promotional and marketing programs focused on ticket sales. AEs are expected to provide outstanding customer service year round to current and potential ticket buyers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Sports Marketing or Sports Management, Business, Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service; with a sports team or at sports venue preferred
  • Excellent communication skills including professional phone and email etiquette
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office required
  • Must have valid driver's license and vehicle to visit customers

Essential Physical Requirements of Job:

  • Regular attendance required
  • Ability to work 25% of work hours outdoors sometimes in excessive heat or inclement weather
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, sometime outdoors in excessive heat or inclement weather
  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs to waist height and carry short distances
  • Availability to work work nights, week ends and holidays, primarily April through September

This is a full-time exempt (salaried) position with benefits. A successful candidate must pass a drug screen and criminal back-ground check. Salary is based on level of experience.
