Field Timing Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities

The Field Timing Coordinator is to accurately operate the stadium pitch clock in accordance with league rules.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Operate the pitch clock in accordance with official league field timing rules
• Submit electronic report of field timing info and violations after every game
• Check in with umpires before and after each game to ensure proper timing

Education & Experience Required

• Familiarity with the official Field Timing rules and policies
• Familiarity with the Springfield Cardinals and/or Double-A Baseball
• Strong knowledge of baseball
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to focus consistently for multiple hours
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Standard comfort with basic technology
